I'm an all round dj meaning I play everything i have been fortunate enough to learn and pick up from older djs iv respected and played with over the years.I have been blessed enough to go from clubbing dj to events dj as times have changed so much for djs

LUKE CUPIDO IS A YOUNG DJ FROM OTTERY A SUBURB ALONG THE CAPE FLATS.HE IS VERSATILE AND CAN MIX ALMOST ANY GENREOF MUSIC AND MOSTLY SHOWCASES HIS LOVE FOR OLD SCHOOL MUSIC.DEFINITLY A RISING TALENT.HE ALSO OWNS A BRAND AND A LABEL CALLED OTTER'S FINEST ALONG WITH SOME ARTIST SIGNED UNDER HIM

I go by the name of Eugene Swanepoel and my stage name is DJONETIME.
people always tend to ask why i chose dj onetime as my stage name reason being that i am also a member of the SAPS
etertainment has always been a hobby wich now also became a passion i featured on many radio stations including GHFM,RADIOKAAPPUNT and other local stations
Ive played in and around alot of clubs in cape town aswell as out of cape town
I like playing any type of music aslong as the crowed is happy

Started playting mobile functions in 1988 with Big Deal Mobile Disco(Gary Poole) and on my own at 100s of venues. Moved to Club Oasis( was called Traffic Lights)in GP (opp Park Avenue which later became Heatwave). Moved to Blue Moon in Grassypark(was the first DJ there) which was Rockafellas. Played there for many years until we moved from turntables to cd players.. Became the first DJ to play kareokie in a club while at BM. While at BM I became the first DJ in Cape Town to play with a computer in a club in 1995. Later moved to a club n the CBD,called Fourplay. From there I landed at Club 99 in Belhar(played with Dr Beat) and then moved to the Train in Ottery where i was the last DJ to play before it closed for good. From there I moved to Swingers where I played for many years, both at the old Swingers which was the front pub and later was the first DJ to play at the new section(back section) which today is the main club(Lounge021) until covid struck

Why we are Beats online radio SA
Beats online radio SA was established in January 2021 with a vesion to help djs.While lockdown has brought our industry to a stand still I wanted to bring entertainment to the people and help all new upcoming djs by giving them a platform to be noticed as well as have the better known djs do what they love in order so everyone can get bookings
